Refund policy

1. General Policy


All items are handmade, one-of-a-kind artisan ceramics.

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, dislike, or personal preference.

2. Damaged or Defective Items


Due to the nature of international shipping from China, we do not require items to be returned if they arrive damaged, defective, or significantly different from the description.

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Contact us at hello@nyinhouse.com within 24 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photos of the damaged item and packaging
  • We will review your claim and issue a full refund including original shipping costs

3. Non-Refundable Situations


  • Change of mind or personal preference
  • Damage caused by improper use, handling, or accidents after delivery
  • Claims made more than 24 hours after delivery
  • No photos provided to support the claim

4. Order Cancellation


Orders may be cancelled before dispatch (within 1–3 business days).

Once shipped, cancellations are no longer possible.

5. Refund Processing


Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–14 business days.
